Beatrix Potter always a favourite with childen, is now a firm favourite with Machin Collectors. This booklet issued 10th August 1993 had a cover price tag of £6 but was actualy sold at £5.64p, this was not a discount as the actual price of the stamps it contained (face value) was as above £5.64p. Also of interest is the stamps have yellow ( C) phosphor bands.

The special issue pane ( pane 1 ) was Printed by Harrison & Sons in Gravure on OBAFree none phosphor paper with Dextrin gum. The three definitive panes were printed by The House of Questa ( litho) also OFNP but had PVA gum
